“Oh Come Let Us Adore Him”
All of the animals in this scene of Christmas worship would have a significant role in the life of Christ. The dove would appear as confirmation that Jesus was indeed the Son of God. A donkey would carry Him as He triumphantly rode into Jerusalem & was hailed as King. The lamb forever represents His sacrifice & atonement for our sins. “Oh come, let us worship & bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” (Psalm 95:6)
